Blossoms & Glow: Lily’s Maternity Session at Livingston Park


When Lily and I started planning this maternity session, I knew she would be such a joy to photograph. She radiated warmth and kindness from the moment we met — and when she arrived for her maternity session at Livingston Park in Manchester, NH, she was absolutely glowing (and not just in the “maternity glow” way, but in the pure joy and excitement kind of way).


Andrew was just as lovely and so accommodating! He was helpful throughout the session, assisting with staging, carrying props, and making sure Lily was comfortable in between shots. Their connection was so natural, and it brought a genuine, heartfelt energy to every photo.


We were lucky enough to shoot in the park’s new, dedicated flower garden, which was in full bloom and created the most romantic, colorful backdrop. The soft petals framed Lily beautifully as she cradled her bump, her dress flowing perfectly in the breeze. We also made our way over to Dorrs Pond, where the calm water and soft golden hour light reflected all the serenity of this special season in their lives.


Her dress — an absolute showstopper — added such elegance to the shoot. It moved like it was made for the camera, catching light and flowing effortlessly in every shot. Combined with her natural beauty and that undeniable maternity glow, it felt like we were creating something truly timeless.


Sessions like these are why I love photography — the combination of anticipation, love, and joy is unmatched. Lily and Andrew’s photos are more than just portraits; they’re a chapter in their growing family’s story.
