Engagement Session at New england Botanic Garden at TOWER HILL IN Boylston, MA


When I can tell I am photographing a couple who immediately feels comfortable together in front of the camera, I know we are going to have a fun session with creative shots. Jane and Jeff were exactly that, and we got some incredible images from this beautiful location.


We photographed their engagement session at the beautiful Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, Massachusetts, and it was the perfect setting. Between the gardens, greenery, winding paths, and gorgeous natural light, there was no shortage of beautiful little corners to explore.


But as beautiful as Tower Hill is, Jane and Jeff made my job incredibly easy. From the very beginning, they were so much fun to work with. They laughed easily, trusted the process, and somehow managed to look completely natural in front of the camera. Nothing felt overly posed or forced, which is always my goal with engagement sessions. I want the photos to feel like you, just with really great light and someone there to capture all of the little moments in between.


Jane and Jeff were absolute naturals. Whether they were walking through the gardens, laughing together, or simply taking a quiet moment with each other, their connection came through effortlessly in their photographs.


Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding experience because they give us a chance to work together before the wedding day. You get to see how I photograph and direct you. I get to learn what makes you comfortable in front of the camera, and by the time the wedding arrives, it already feels familiar.


After spending this evening with Jane and Jeff, I’m even more excited for their big day.


I loved getting to know these two, wandering around one of Massachusetts’ most beautiful garden locations with them, and documenting this season of their story.
