Corinne + Rob | A Couture-Inspired Garden Wedding
As a lifetime New Englander, I’ve somehow never made it to Cape Cod before Corinne and Rob’s wedding day—but what a way to experience it for the first time! We began the morning at Rob’s family home, where the wedding party’s energy was buzzing with excitement. The laughter and anticipation set the tone for a wondferully memorable day.
From there, we traveled to the Heritage Museum & Gardens in Sandwich, MA. This venue is massive and breathtaking, filled with hidden nooks, lush gardens, a carousel, and even a car museum! This venue offered endless opportunities for photos, and every corner felt like a new discovery. Corinne and Rob chose to share their first look on a secluded bridge surrounded by trees—a quiet, intimate moment that contrasted beautifully with the lively energy of the day.
Their ceremony was unique and extremely personal to them. I love seeing couples personalize this part of the day more and more. Parents spoke about their love for the couple, guests were invited into a heartfelt sing-along, accompanied by live musicians, and a beautiful remembrance candle was lit. It was moving, joyful, and deeply meaningful.
Of course, no wedding day is without surprises—I managed to rip my pants right before the ceremony (yes, right down the back 😅). Thankfully, wedding days are all about rolling with the unexpected, and I didn’t miss a beat.
Dinner was Cape Cod perfection: lobster and chowder, followed by cupcakes designed to look like delicate flowers. Guests laughed over oversized cutouts of Corinne and Rob’s cats and childhood photos—such a fun touch! We even snuck into the car museum for some adorable shots in a vintage car that felt straight out of a classic movie.
Corinne and Rob’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, personality, and pure joy. From the music to the meals to the laughter that filled every corner, it was the kind of day you never want to end.
