An Engagement session... in the rain!
Ok, ok, maybe I am exaggerating by using the word "rain". The weather was more of a drizzle, but still proved challenging!
I watched the weather throughout the week, and allllllll week, it looked like Sunday would be the perfect day for a golden hour engagement session. Of course, the day of the session the weather changed to a chance of rain during the exact time we planned to start.
Weather can be unpredictable, but that is one of the pieces that make this line of work interesting! Our couple happily followed our lead, and we were still able to capture some beautiful shots!
We started at Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown, NH.
Fun fact, this time of year is still off-season, so there is no admission to use the park at this time. We were fortunate to have some amazing spots at this location, ranging from a gorgeous stone wall, to beautiful sands along the pond, and even a bridge for some fun shots.
Our couple were the wonderful Shay and Brandon from New Hampshire. They are getting married this fall at Pat's Peak in Henniker, NH. I loved working with them on their engagements, they were so fun to work with, and so adorable together! I was fortunate to meet their cute little baby girl, and snap a few of her and her pretty blue eyes.
I love engagement sessions!! They provide an opportunity for the couple to interact with me, which in turn helps them feel more comfortable before they get in front of the camera on the big day!
Look SO forward to photographing their wedding this fall!
I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks!!
