did you know the old house at Peace field is a national park?
I knew this session would be special from the start—but I didn’t realize just how much charm, laughter, and history we’d be surrounded by until we arrived at the Pease Field House in Quincy, Massachusetts. This historic gem—fittingly located in the birthplace of both President John Adams and John Quincy Adams—was the perfect backdrop for Corinne and Rob's romantic engagement shoot.
Getting there was a bit of an adventure! Boston was celebrating Pride Day 🏳️🌈✨, there were national protests and of course one was taking place in Boston, and it was Flag Day in Quincy!
Between the travelers for the parades, protests, and celebrations, traffic was wild. I narrowly avoided rear-ending someone! But when I finally arrived and saw Corinne and Rob glowing with excitement and style, all that bumper-to-bumper stress faded away.
From the moment we started shooting, these two were an absolute joy. Rob brought the energy with spontaneous (and absolutely spot-on) Dick Van Dyke dancing, which had us all laughing. And Corinne? She looked like she had just stepped off the pages of a bridal editorial—perfect smile, stunning dress, beautifully styled hair and makeup…she truly embodied the elegance of the Pease Field House itself.
Their chemistry was undeniable, full of effortless movement, inside jokes, and those quick glances that speak volumes. It’s always a treat to photograph a couple who are not only madly in love, but clearly best friends.
As the sun dipped behind the historic buildings, I couldn’t help but feel grateful—grateful for couples like Corinne and Rob, for unexpected dance breaks, and for being part of such joyful, love-filled moments (even on the most chaotic traffic days).
Corinne and Rob, I cannot wait to capture your wedding day magic! ✨
