Engagement session at Benson park in Hudson, NH
I love spring engagement sessions in New Hampshire! Meghan and Marcus’ evening at Benson Park was the perfect mix of beautiful golden sun, and colorful blooming flowers.
Between the glowing golden hour light, blooming lilacs, and two people completely willing to trust the creative process, this session felt effortless in the best way.
Benson Park gave us the dreamiest backdrop for their engagement photos. The soft spring greens had finally returned, the lilacs were in full bloom, and the warm evening sunlight wrapped everything in that golden glow photographers spend all winter waiting for. Every corner of the park felt beautiful.
But what really made this session special was Meghan and Marcus themselves! From the very beginning, they were up for anything. Whether it was trying movement-based prompts, leaning into candid moments, or experimenting with a few creative ideas outside the typical engagement poses, they fully embraced the experience together. Those are always my favorite sessions — the ones where couples let go of worrying about “doing it right” and just focus on being together.
The result was a gallery full of genuine laughter, soft in-between moments, and so much connection.
One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to know my couples before the wedding day, and spending the evening with these two made me even more excited for what’s ahead. Meghan and Marcus are the kind of couple that make photography feel easy. They are playful, kind, relaxed, and clearly so in love.
I already know their wedding at Miraval Gardens in East Bridgewater is going to be incredible, and after photographing them together during golden hour at Benson Park, I truly cannot wait to document the next chapter of their story.
If you’re recently engaged and dreaming of a relaxed, joy-filled engagement session surrounded by beautiful New England scenery, spring at Benson Park is hard to beat!
