A Rustic-Elegant Celebration at Fork-to-Table Farm
Some weddings just feel like love from start to finish — and Jennifer and Curtis’s day at Fork-to-Table Farm in Chester, New Hampshire was exactly that. Nestled among rolling fields and surrounded by animals (yes, cows, donkeys, goats, and chickens made an appearance), this venue was a dream for a rustic-yet-elegant celebration. From the sweetest owners who welcomed us like family to the thoughtful details that reflected Jennifer and Curtis’s story, every moment was infused with warmth.
I’ve photographed a lot of weddings, but Curtis’s suit was hands-down the best color I’ve ever seen on a groom. His green suit, paired with pops of orange accents, the color palette was fresh, bold, and perfectly suited for a farm setting in New Hampshire. The look felt modern and timeless at the same time — a style I hope to see more of in upcoming wedding seasons.
Jennifer and Curtis tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony that blended tradition with personal touches. Their Irish handfasting ritual was not only visually beautiful but also incredibly meaningful, symbolizing the binding of two lives together. Jennifer wore a stunning necklace handcrafted in Ireland, honoring her heritage in such an elegant way.
And let’s not forget their pups! Their two sweet dogs, wearing delicate flower collars, trotted down the aisle like they’d been preparing for this moment all along. They truly completed the family portrait.
This venue deserves its own spotlight. The farm is run by the kindest couple — you can tell they genuinely care about every couple who celebrates there. The grounds were breathtaking, rustic yet thoughtfully designed, and every turn revealed a new backdrop for portraits: golden fields, weathered barns, and, of course, the friendly farm animals that added to the charm.
From start to finish, this wedding was filled with little details that reflected who Jennifer and Curtis are. Guests enjoyed cupcakes from Queen City Cupcakes, each one as beautiful as it was delicious. The décor followed a rustic-elegant theme, balancing wood, greenery, and soft textures for a look that was both welcoming and refined.
The music kept the night alive thanks to the incredible DJ from Harmonious Hearts. I don't usually shout out to DJ's on this blog, but I have met a few incredible DJ's this season, and he was one of them. Not only was he on point with his announcements and music, but he helped set up the cupcake display so the cake cutting could be announced! He interacted with guests in a fun and authentic way. His energy brought everyone to the dance floor and carried the celebration late into the night. Highly recommend!
One of the moments that I will remember from this night, is when Jennifer’s brother realized he had lost a family heirloom somewhere outside. At this point, it was dark. Everyone started looking through the grass, tables, and gravel for the ring to no avail. I tried to remember all the places I took a photo with him in the frame and retraced my steps.
Somehow, I managed to spot the ring among the gravel stones in the parking lot! Seeing the relief and gratitude on their faces was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
Jennifer and Curtis’s wedding was everything I love about photographing love stories: heartfelt family traditions, laughter, a couple who adores each other, and a community that surrounds them with joy. Fork-to-Table Farm was the perfect backdrop for their rustic-elegant day, and I’m so grateful I got to capture it all.
Here’s to Jennifer and Curtis — may your marriage be as full of life and love as the farm where it all began.
