When I was photographing the wedding of Hunter and Andrew at Over the Moon Farmstead in Pittsfield, New Hampshire, it felt like stepping into a storybook. Tucked away in the countryside, the venue offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance. Over the Moon Farmstead is more than just a rural venue—it’s a photographer’s dream. With delicate wall decals, colorful art and furniture pieces, and large decorative windows casting colorful light across beautifully furnished rooms, every corner holds a story waiting to be captured.
My favorite spot in the house? The front door with a stained glass window! It was SO picturesque that I couldn't resist creating some elegant shots with it. The venue offers overnight accommodations, giving couples and their guests a chance to relax in beautifully lit, cozy spaces before and after the big day.
A standout feature of the venue is their custom clock on the barn. They set it to reflect the couple’s wedding date—a small but personal touch that ties the venue’s rustic charm to the significance of the day.
The ceremony took place against the backdrop of rolling hills and brilliant fall foliage. The scenery stretched endlessly beyond what the eye could see, creating a breathtaking atmosphere for the couple to say their vows. One of my favorite details from the day was the custom Converse worn by the bride. These weren’t just shoes—they were a reflection of her style, and they added a playful, personal touch to her bridal look.
